I brought ours because I didn't want it to get messy during breakfast (which she eats there). The teacher asked me to put it on her, so I put it on her. If it's messy for tonight, then oh well. They're juggling a bunch of kids and Halloween is chaotic. Totally understandable they don't want to wrangle a bunch of kids into costumes. Be nice and follow the rules to make it easier on them.
