FTM here. I live in a typical NW rowhome with 2 "flights" of stairs. The Cruz appeals to me because I'll be hauling the stroller up and down the steps but I'll also have about a 1 mile walk to daycare (and 1 mile back) on bumpy sidewalks so I'm looking for a smooth ride with the most durability.

I went and tried them both and they seemed the same to me? Of course the Vista was a little larger and def heavier but never having pushed or carried a stroller before, I don't know if I was missing something? Does anyone have any experience with the Cruz and long city walks over time?

We have a normal-sized sedan trunk but have considered upgrading to a crossover type SUV.

Not married to the Uppababy but my girlfriends love their Vistas so I thought I'd start there. I know I don't like the tip factor on the City Mini because I'm forgetful and I'd probably try and put my bag on the handles at some point.
