It's also very generous with merit aid which most state public's are not. $20k in merit is not uncommon for a strong student from the DC area. We visited and DC liked it. It's smaller than most state flagships which is something he was looking for and Burlington had a great vibe. It's also very strong in his proposed major. I wouldn't pay full freight (that's true of a lot of places), but I'd have no issue of the financial end worked out.[/quote]
