The neuropsychological evaluation helped us pinpoint that it wasn't autism. Helped us pinpoint that it was actually OCD. Still not ideal, but at least we know where to focus efforts. My niece has ADHD and dyslexia diagnosed through a neuropsychological evaluation. Her anxiety was greatly reduced by appropriate interventions. Your kid could have just anxiety or anxiety related to something else. It may make a difference if you try medication. Our insurance paid for half of the evaluation.
