Wear your hair the way YOU like it. Men shouldn't be telling you how to wear your hair, and attracting a man shouldn't be your motivation for doing your hair a certain way. You want a man who likes YOU - not who likes only a specific hair style.
Whatever. She's asking what do men prefer. I'm also black and did a big cut on my hair, which has now grown back to about my shoulders without a relaxer. I wear it curly because it's easiest, but without a doubt I get more looks and male attention when my hair is straight (I can't get it straight without a salon so I rarely wear it that way but the change I get from men when I bother is clear). My husband prefers it straight although he's fine with the curly (not like there's anything much he can do anyway). Oddly, I get more compliments from women when my hair is curly. I've never worn braids so I can't say about that.
