It may seem "lowely" but chances of flexibility would be better. Plus, if you work at a store you shop at the discount would be nice. If you're on the fence about it consider trying retail holiday job. The seasonal teens can work Black Friday and Christmas Eve, you've got kids. During college I worked enough holidays and shitty hours because I wasn't going to let a parent miss out on a holiday with their child.
