The replacement teacher seems to have a very aggressive style which is not what the kids are used to. It's been a rough transition. The new math teacher went out on maternity leave after the first week and the sub is absolutely terrible. No instruction and unreasonable homework. I just read that part of their class PBIS is taking away 5 min of recess. The Principal has been responsive but I'm guessing finding a long term sub isn't super easy. Tonight I got home and my younger child told me about an incident that happened in their classroom. I realize all school systems have issues but I can't help feeling like throwing in the towel tonight. Tomorrow will be another day right??[/quote]
