The commute to grand central is a little less than an hour.  Obviously downtown would be longer.  Most people I have talked to seem to go in very early (5ish train) and come home early.  My husband does not have a regular commute to the city, but he does have to travel often.

I think it's a wonderful community and place to live so far.  You can definitely find a place with a shorter commute if that is important to you.  [/quote]
