It's rampant. I've been married for ages, and I am good friends with some military guys. Since I've always been married, they view me more as a friend than as some woman they might be interested in, so they're more honest with me than I think they otherwise might be. Cheating, hookers, strip clubs, other girlfriends are all rampant in the military, even among the more upstanding guys.

I've heard enough to pretty much assume that, when a guy is deployed, at least one member of the couple (the one overseas or the one home) is or has cheated. [/quote]
