Do you realize that "monkeying around" with boundaries is what gave the district all those democrat strongholds in Montgomery in the first place? Prior to that, 6D was all western MD. We couldn't make a dent in it until we could redraw it to extend it down into Germantown and Gaithersburg to include enough Democrat households to offset all the racists, nazis and kkk members in western Maryland. I mean, it's kind of funny really when you think about it. What do Montgomery and Garrett counties have in common? Zero. Except their member of congress, haha! But yeah, before it got redrawn, we had no hope of ever getting that seat. So redistricting is a GOOD thing. [/quote]
