Every single person I've known who has done it (more than 5 people I'm very close with) has gotten injured doing Crossfit. All at different boxes. And every single one of them claimed their box/coach "focused on form and safety." Good luck. Take it easy. Crossfit keeps orthopedic surgeons in business.
Every single person I've ever known who has played a sport into and beyond high school has gotten injured as well. Why people are so adamant about pointing out CrossFit injuries is beyond me. It's the best work out my husband and I have ever found. Glad you're enjoying it, OP!
+1 every runner I know has had an injury at some point or other. Guess we should all just sit on our couches for fear of injury. FWIW I also pulled a muscle in my neck getting out of bed one morning....injuries happen.
