It's really very technical, programming experience etc. they want you to write code to manipulate the data. Not just look at it. Also very saturated right now with foreign students on visa doing opt and cpt.
US continues to crap on it's own citizens, we train Indians instead of Americans. Hi All I am currently on STEM OPT valid until February 2019. My h1b got picked this year and was issued an RFE on August 4th . After looking at the RFE got to know that it is for speciality occupation and Level 1 wage . I have done my BE and MS in Computer Science . I am working in Big Data which is related to my major . My employer (consulting firm) had filed for my H1b along with client and vendor letter . I have been working directly with the client at the client location for the past 13 months . My employer called me on Aug 18th to inform me that he shall be withdrawing my petition on Monday 21st because the client is not ready to provide additional documentation apart from the client letter as they cannot get involved in legalities and immigration issues for consultants. Last Night I checked the case status online and it says : Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received . So has the employer withdrawn the petition or was the RFE response submitted . I know I would have to check with him eventually on Monday just checking to see if any of you have any inputs . Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Sriram http://forum.desiopt.com/showthread.php/9351-H1b-picked-but-employer-withdrawing-the-petition
