This lasts for a little while, it passes and them at some point I develop a crush on someone else. In the past when I've had crushes on "real life" people there might be some mild flirtation, thinking about them and looking them up online but never more than that (I never drove past anyone's house, texted or contacted the person unless it was for professional reasons or did stalker type stuff). I guess what bothers me is the amount of mental energy expended on these little crushes or fascinations. It reminds me to some degree of how I was as a pre-teen or teen when I got obsessed with a celebrity although at that point I would put posters of him on my wall, etc. lol-I haven't done that (or have wanted to do that) since I was in my late teens/early 20's at college.

Do other people do this? It's something I've been kind of embarrassed about.
