While this does create a lot of open positions very close to the start of school, they know who to fire way before October. -DCPS teacher who can appreciate data-driven instruction if it's done right, the assessment is good, and it's not used for evaluations[/quote] Did you read about last year PARCC scores at Wilson, even DCPS admitted the students did not take the assessments seriously, but yet these are the scores that are used to rate DCPS teachers. No consequences for students, but be damned for teachers! Oh well, just more churning of teachers, principals, and admin at DCPS high schools! [/quote]
