Take your own water bottles and fill up before you leave the hotel/house in the AM. Bottled water adds up fast.

If theh are old enoigh, Give the kids souvenir cash up front and they decide how to spend it. Once it's gone, it's gone. No deciding on the fly to indulge their souvenir requests.

Stay in hotels that serve breakfast, if you have a choice. Grab a piece of fruit to take for a snack later. Suite style hotels are also good with fridges, dishes, etc.

Check your points accounts and see if there is anything you can put towards lodging or gift cards, etc. [/quote]
