And yet, the rust belt and the Midwest and the Deep South are bright red swaths of Trump country.  And since they decided to inflict Trump on the rest of us, I am not particularly interested in pretending that many of them are anything except stupid racists who have very nasty things to say about the "educated liberal elites" who live on the Coasts. And I know for a fact this is true. Because I got an education and got out of one such place.  But still have to go back to the land of MAGA hats to visit family.

And it takes a lot of nerve to bash those of us who did get an education and become a "liberal elite" while simultaneously being pissed off that we don't treat flyover country racists with kid gloves. [/quote]
