Just to clarify an IB diploma (11th and 12th) was good but an MYP diploma (6th-10th btw) is bad in addition.  My understanding is the only difference to an IB magnet kid is the school wide 10th grade project which is quite minimal compared to the IB magnet work load. It is pass fail. Otherwise it just involves taking a language and a few other minor requirements the IB kids are already doing.  Also, how would changing the coordinator break the cohort?[/quote]

That poster is just looking for exclusivity. He or she feels that the more the RMIB magnet students have in common with the general RM population, the less exclusive the RMIB magnet program is. (OH NO!)[/quote]
