This class was also considered not as strong as the previous 2016 class which had 81 going to UVA.[/quote] That's wild, because my understanding from talking to a co-worker whose kid recently went through the admissions process is that getting into TJ itself is a much, much more competitive and high-pressure thing than it was back when I went there. My own kids are in preschool so I haven't really focused on this, but it really brings home for me how much more competitive [i]everything[/i] is for teens now. I'm not looking forward to what it will be like for my kids in 10 or 15 more years. [/quote]
