So I get the reason for the deadlines. What kills me is the clubs that start the process so early in the spring. It is unfair to the players and families to have to commit before the season plays out. If you liken it to business, it's like trying to trying to make a critical decision without having all the relevant information. PP is so right about how the deadlines relate to the quality of the player in question. The kid receiving an offer from the 3rd or 4th level team better accept that offer within 48 hours or it's gone. The DA offer for the rock star can hang out there for months.[/quote]
