This is exactly how I feel.  I have watched various SB meetings and work sessions on line.  I've signed petitions, filled out stupid surveys (where they ask leading questions) and voted.  None of this has worked.  I really, really can't stand the school board.  The CB sucks too b/c they keep approving affordable housing.  We need to pay for an urban planner along with another group that can actually do math (i.e., mckinley, yorktown/hs boundary mess).

I have emailed in so many comments to various planning scenarios (including of course the current call for feedback on Buck and Carlin Springs properties, which has one frigging scenario with APS getting one stupid administrative building). I have signed facebook and email petitions to APS and County Board, begging them to address overcapacity, stop building these high rises, put a freeze on more affordable housing until they get the current children who live in the county a decent education. Why do I bother?

I am so disgusted at the mismanagement of funds--$250,000 for a "memorial" to HB's history, tens of millions for Nauck "town center," art and beautification projects for county property, but no one can allot the money to build a fourth high school... [/quote]
