I think these marches are a waste of time. What matters is getting people to vote and if a fraction of the effort to organize these marches went into directing voter turnout it pay off a whole lot more than these futile marches. Yes, liberals want to take control of the senate and house but marching is not the answer to that goal. What we need is real leadership in the Democratic party - and that is currently woefully lacking and absolutely nothing is being done to rectify the situation. The face of the party today is Pelosi, Schumer and to a lesser extent Perez and they are not exactly inspiring. We also need a platform that addresses the needs of white working class voters - you know the group that some liberals view with such disdain. We lost the election because they abandoned the party. Biden was probably one of the few who understood the aspirations of these voters but he is too old to assume a leadership role.
Who managed to get everything they wanted in spending bill-and nothing Trump wanted (no wall, no deportation force, PP funded) even if in the minority. Yeah, very ineffective. As for the rest, if you don't want to march, don't march. But marchers have the same effect of "rallies" in terms of voter engagement and volunteer recruitment- they are useful even if not sufficient.
