[/quote] I think when it gets to the point where both the parents and the school admits that the public school does not have a suitable placement, the timeline is very dependent on the individual facts on hand. No one but you knows these. It is impossible to answer your question. If the school is also promoting private placement, you may be able to get in as soon as the fall- but that means a school - with availability- has to be found. I am in FCPS, and the only cases I know of like this involve therapeutic schools. [/quote]
