I pick up my son (24months) at 5:45 pm every day. Yesterday he had an enourmous pee diaper and a wet pair of pants. He also had a diaper rash, which he is not normally prone to have. Now, I'm definitely guilty of going a few hours without changing him, but this seemed a bit much. We generally like our daycare and teachers. I don't want to alienate them by complaining. Is it worth a mention or just let it go?
1) Your child is TWO. Not "24 months." 2) Speak to your daycare about how regularly they are changing him. Tell them that he has diaper rash that will need to be attended to MORE regularly. Ask questions about what the diapering/toilet training routine is at the daycare. Was this an unusual situation in which they were out and about and were delayed getting back, or were they just not paying attention?
