There are too many factors to consider.[/quote] +1 38, 5'3" - I would lose weight on 1,500 calories. I normally eat 2,000-2,5000 on an average day but I also exercise every day. If you gain weight on 1500 calories, and you are not an extremely small petite person who lays in bed all day, every day, then you are a medical anomaly if you gain weight with that. I agree with pp that they're probably eating more than they think. Or have royally messed up their metabolisms with starvation diets. [/quote]
