I am looking for effective curriculum that parents can use over the summer to help with writing for MS/HS. (Child will go to 8th grade next year.) I understand that quick fixes do not happen, but I will appreciate any suggestions. We have very limited resources at this point. So tutors and private schools are out at this point. Child is barely on the grade level, or just a bit below. Public school.
we are in MOCo and our 5th grader has improved his writing and reading skills significantly this past year, we opted for signing him at our local Spider smart, it is not free, but not terribly expensive either. DC attends a one hour session weekly, reviews homework with teacher and gets a new assignment weekly.
