YES!!!!! I completely agree with you yet when I have expressed this opinion to people I get pushback. She is lovely but she cannot act!!! And I also agree with posters who say that Emma Watson can't act either. [/quote]

SAME!  I agree on both of them.  I'm so glad someone else is saying that about Natalie Portman.  I've seen criticism about Emma Watson's acting ability elsewhere but I've never seen anything negative about Natalie Portman's ability. She. can't. act. [/quote]

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!  OMG, I've found my people.  Natalie Portman is one of the most beautiful creatures I've ever laid eyes on, she honestly is.  And intelligent, and probably a very nice person too.  But she really can't act.  I haven't seen "Jackie," but I was stunned to see her nominated for Best Actress.  Maybe I'd feel differently if I saw the movie, maybe she does a fantastic job - but the trailers I've seen didn't impress me at all.  Actually, I really did think she was superb in "Black Swan," and deserved that Oscar.  But other than that, I agree, she is very flat in almost every role.  But my goodness, what I wouldn't give to look like her.   :wink:
