Sibling preference is only for pre-k. They add a full class of new kids at K so there are theoretically 22 new spots in K. I have no idea about the number of applicants or the number of siblings applying for pre-k. Admissions office doesn't really share that info.
We only admit 21 in K and no more than 63 for PreK. Classroom sizes are 20-21. Only a few upper grades have more than 21 per class because of prior over enrollment. Going forward they will not be over enrolling. The number of applications are anywhere between 150-200 for PreK and for K. The number of sibling applicants is pretty high this year. Based on the number of people I personally know applying for a sibling child, I would estimate that at least half of the 63 spots will go to siblings and/or children of staff members. Accepted families will be notified via emailed and all notifications will also be made via Ravenna.
