[/quote] +1. My Maltese is the same way. She also knows everyone's name and will go to them if you tell her to using their name. I think the smartest thing she does is take care of me as I sleep. I'm going through chemo right now and I've been sleeping on the couch. She stays downstairs with me and sleeps above my head on the couch. When the covers fall off or aren't fully covering me, she takes notice and tries to pull them up with her teeth. Last night, when I was vomiting she ran upstairs and notified my parents.
