I find Loudoun, Arlington, McLean very similar.  Impersonal.  Factory. Nepotism. Top-down organizations that cater to the loudest mouths and biggest spenders. The idea is that a coach (really the technical director and assistants) can see all the club's A teams in one place each weekend.

So, yes -- like the switch to birth years, this was done to make life slightly easier for technical staff and much worse for parents.[/quote]
