Fairfax is becoming more blue, not more red.[/quote] I don't think that's true. The fast pace of demographic change over the past decade has ticked off a lot of voters, including Democrats like me. The influx of immigrants from 3rd world countries has caused a budget crisis for FCPS. The cost of ESOL, FARMS, and other services is unsustainable. Other items have to be cut to pay for it. Long-term residents who remember how FCPS used to be realize that we can't continue to take in everyone. Like flight attendants say, you have to put on your own air mask before you can help anyone else. Our quality of life is taking a huge hit and enough is enough. Common sense people. [/quote]
