One of the worst things about having a colicky baby (I had a crazy one) is when you are in the thick of things, it seems like the torture will last forever. Hard to have a sense of humor. But your parents' (no doubt annoying) jokes are not the end of the world. Just say, "Ha ha guys, I'm cool with you mocking me now, as long as you're cool with using all of that expertise you developed to babysit for the next three hours!
