I know that re zoning is expected in 2019 in S. Arlington due to the new elementary school. Does anyone know that if you kid goes to one of the schools effected will they be moved to another elementary school that year or would the re-zoning only impact incoming students or students that voluntarily move? Sorry if this has been asked before.
Hi, Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am.new to this board because we may be moving to the area. Where will the new school be? Which elementary schools are likely to be effected? I would hate to have us move into a new house/school only to make my poor kids move again 2 years later!
The new school will be near Thomas Jefferson middle school. They will move Patrick henry to that spot and make Patrick henry a dedicated Montessori school. No one REALLY knows what is going to happen after, but the areas current zoned for Drew, Hoffman Boston, and Oakridge will likely be the most effected.
