Can anyone recommend affordable home builders like Stanley Martin or Evergreene?

Looking to potentially roughly price out a floor plan for a house and these affordable home builders with existing floor plans have been thrown around a lot. They are attractive to me because they offer approximate pricing on their site. Please chime in if you know of other home builders similar in the Northern Virginia area. Thank you!

No evergreen- poor quality and workmanship. Just drive by and see one of their projects. SM is much better. Best to just purchase an existing better built home vs goibg with either one of these outfits. There are other builders much more expensive. You get what you pay.

If you’re willing to make the jump just across the border to the Frederick MD area Ryan Legacy builders. We built with them back in 2014 and have been very happy. The owner is a son of one of the Ryan brothers. He can be a PIA but his kids take care of the customer service and day to day and I have to say the house is a well built house. Especially for what we paid for it.

I have owned three Ryan homes. All three are solid. Nothing fancy but solid. Also, we have built with custom builders as well, price point over $10 mil. It's all about the subcontractors. They all use same contractors do not let them tell you otherwise.
