EBF baby and never took a bottle

Anonymous
DD is nine months now and with working from home she’s never needed to take a bottle. She drinks water out of straw and open cups easily. She loves nursing and really settles in at the breast and is rarely distracted.

Is this going to make it harder to wean at around 15 or 16 months? My toddler was never that interested in nursing and preferred pumped milk in a bottle. He weaned easily at 14 months on his own.

You never know. Walking changes everything.

DD1 loved nursing and did fine with bottles. Weaned herself at 11 months 2 weeks. Just refused to nurse. Transition went fine to sippy cups then open cups.
Dd2 loved nursing hated bottles. Basically had to squeeze milk from bottle into her mouth at daycare. weaned her at 13 months but kept one night feed until 16 months. Transition went fine to sippy cup and then cups.

Both my kids started refusing a bottle at some point and I just never pushed the issue because I WFH.

I weaned them both around 14 months with no issues.

If anything I think it's easier to break nursing than a bottle habit. I weaned at about 16ish months gradually and it was not hard at all.

+1. My experience too. DD never had a bottle or pacifier either but weaned easily and pretty much on her own at 15 months.
