We are going to an evening wedding in a few weeks. I am planning to wear a black dress but my legs are white as snow and a little veiny from my recent pregnancy, so I feel I need to wear black stockings. I have dressy black open-toe sandals I wanted to wear, but would these be appropriate with sandal-foot stockings?
What should I wear? Help! |
I've definitely worn black hose with fancy open toes sandals. It's not my favorite look, but I don't think bare legs are always appropriate either. The nice thing about evening weddings is that it will probably be too dark for anyone to notice anyway. Have fun!!!!! I'm sure you'll look great, especially if you're feeling good. |
No! Sorry. If you want to wear stockings find another pair of closed toe shoes. |
Find some closed-toe shoes if you are wearing hoes or stockings. |
No hose with sandals. |
NOOOOOOOO! Not with dressy sandals. Buy some black dressy satin pumps that you can wear with most dressy looks. |
No to sandals, but maybe a peep-toe shoe. |
Either find a pair of great closed-toe shoes, or find a self-tanner that you like. Personally, I'd go with the self-tanner (I use Jergens). |
Another "don't do it!!!!" vote. Please don't wear black stockings with open-toed sandals! |
Another vote for self tanner and no hose. |
No way. Either no hose at all or different shoes. |
NEVER. |
NO NO NO |
09:09 here. Oops. I wonder how many times I committed this particular fashion faux pas!! I knew it was bad, I just didn't know how bad it was. Oh well. Good thing my husband is clueless and never knew to be embarassed. |
Don't even think about it! |
