Blizzard Babies - November 2010

My cycle is a little wacky so I'm not sure if it's too early to test, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed ...anyone else?

Yep - me too! #3 for us and we weren't 'trying'. but what else is there to do during a blizzard?

yup. positive hpt, appt scheduled with ob for next week. will be #2, assuming this works out. I do wonder if the hospitals will be packed in November with blizzard babies.

Us too, although we were doing an IVF cycle out of town (after realizing that no local doc would ever get me pregnant) - so all the snow did not contribute. Although I was on a conference call in the middle of the blizzard and someone cracked a joke about all the babies who were going to be born in 9 months and I looked over at my counter full of very expensive IVF meds and just smiled...

Us too! HPG was positive one week ago with a faint line. Still faint - I take one almost daily... I'm getting a little worried.

Is there any kind of Blizzard Baby Group? My wife and I would love to meet other expectant parents. This is our first!

If there's some advantage to being in the later stages of pregnancy in the hot summer months, it may be that you don't have to worry about going into labor during a blizzard. That occurred to me several times during the blizzard......

There are 3 women on my street (including me!) pregnant with blizzard babies. Can you believe it? Now, if we all go into labor on the full moon then we're really in trouble...the hospitals will be packed!

That's crazy. But at least you have a really convenient support group. Talk about babysitting ease!

If you're due in November you should definitely have a positive pregnancy test by now! I'm due in December and have already had my first OB appt!

I was one of the pregnant woman whose water broke during the 3rd storm because of the pressure! Lucky for me we live near the hospital, we own a truck and my husband is a quick shoveler

Good luck to all those expecting! Hopefully November brings lots of healthy babies and no storms!
