I hate this. In the before times I always had an activity planned. It’s how I managed the kids. We are doing a nature walk tomorrow because that’s the better weather day. Too fearful to do inside stuff. What’s left? |
How old are your kids? Where do you live? |

Pick a MoCo park. It's a gorgeous day. Brookside Gardens? Locust Grove? |
We’re going to Brookside Gardens for a long walk, then takeout for lunch and back home for nap. |
Redgate is an old golf course off Norbeck Rd. It’s kind of random, but a nice place to check out. Norby’s is not too far—get some coffee/desserts to go and have a picnic at redgate.

It's beautiful out. Ride bikes, shoot baskets, go to a playground, do some gardening, take a walk, draw with chalk on the driveway, jump rope, play catch. It's chilly, but you can wash the car.
If you want to be inside, how about baking? It's always fun to make and decorate cupcakes. |
I was going to suggest doing something outdoors, but it sounds like you're already doing that. For us, that's about all we've been doing lately, whether it's going for a walk/hike or just coming up with something to do in the yard. It's getting a little old I have to admit, but it's been great getting the kids outside to do something rather than what we were doing before COVID. |
