Question in subject line. I think all teachers should have been (public, private, daycare, parochial, etc) but have not been able to tell if that’s the case. Virginia. |
Yes. |
My child's parochial teacher has had both doses, so I'm going to guess yes. She is not over 65 so I can't imagine she would have gotten it due to a health condition already. My other child's preschool teacher has gotten it as well (it's a full day preschool that has a childcare license). |
Yes. Private preschool teachers got their first shots last week. I'm so happy for them! |
Of course |
Yes there was an article about it in the Arlington Catholic newspaper. |
Really glad b/c our private school teachers have been in-person this year so it was great that they could get the vaccine. |
They should be since many are actually in classrooms now and have been since the Fall. |
Ours were some of the first, since they are among the only schools doing in-person lessons. Teachers doing virtual teaching from home are at the bottom of list. |
100% of staff in our FFX County private (open for full-time in-person instruction) were vaccinated. |
FFS yes! Why wouldn’t they be? |
In my county, they were given the same status as public school teachers. |
+1 Our private school teachers were in classrooms with students. They absolutely should have been first in line. |
In MoCo, the state had to send a letter to hte county to remind to include them. The county claimed it was a clerical error as they had only a list of MCPS teachers easily at the ready to give to the hospital for vaccination appointment emails.
We're in another county in MD in parochial, and our teachers are getting vaccinated next week. They've been teaching in -person all school year. |
Part time preschool teachers here were included too, as they should have been. We know some that have been vaccinated. Fairfax county. |
