Did you have more side effects than usual to this year’s flu shot?

Wondering if social distancing and lack of exposure to common illnesses over past months affects our immune response to the shot.

None except for arm soreness

No, about the same amount of soreness as usual. No other issues.

I felt crappy this year, but with everyone at home I also think it was easier to just sit around and wallow in the crappiness rather than get on with life. I'm not sure I felt worse, perhaps just noticed it more.

Out pediatrician did all our shots in our car, though, and I realized it didn't hurt at all. Not one bit. I think because there was none of the anticipatory anxiety that pops up when I walk into any medical place.

I didn't even have arm soreness. This was about the easiest one I've ever had.

My son and I had ours Tuesday. So far neither of us have had any side effects, though I noticed for the first time ever, my arm isn't sore at all.

No side effects for our family of 4.

Us too -- 4 kids and 2 adults.

None. My shot barely hurt at all and my arm wasn't really sore, either. I was a bit tired in the afternoon, but can't say for sure that was due to the shot or the long walk we took in the morning.
