I would love to hear what people recommend for baby bath tubs.

| We loved our Euro Primo (or something like that) - it's huge, and it has several different ways in which your baby can be placed in it. |

PP here - here's the product I was trying to reference:

| Ditto the Primo Euro tub. The only downside is that it is HUGE! We've been using since sponge bath 1 and our son is 7.5 months now (but at 95% weight and height). We started with it on the kitchen counter, and now we use it in the tub. It's nice to have a smaller area (rather than the whole tub) for a larger baby, because it just makes the whole experience more manageable. Plus, it's not too expensive. |
| Love the Euro tub too -- as long as you have space to store it! |

Loved our Euro. I think DD was in it until she was 2 (in the big tub), as it was less to fill. And DD is at the 99% height, so it is big.
When we were using it on the kitchen counter, we stored it hanging on a nail in the adjacent laundry room. If others share DC's bathroom, you could find a way to hang it at the back of the tub (where there's usually a towel bar). A baby tub is not a necessity, just a nice to have. We bathed DD in a kitchen sink and a laundry sink when we traveled to grandparents' homes. |
| Ditto the primo. I'd love to be able to use my kitchen sink, but it's too small (and there are cabinets above). |
| Love our Whale of a Tub (I think that's what it's called). Blue whale tub with a little divider to prevent baby from falling into the deep end. Really great tub for us, and very inexpensive. |

We loved the euro tub too. We had a "real" changing table (not a dresser with a pad) and the bath would fit into it. DH would fill the bath and then position it on the changing table. It was wonderful, because I had a tough recovery from a c-section and even at 6 weeks would not have been able to lean over the bath, so I was able to give her a bath! Baby's room was always warmer than our chilly bathroom, and it worked great. We lay a towel on her crib and moved her there for drying, wriggling and giggling, and dressed, and then she nursed to sleep! Those were wonderful days!
It is probably a No-no to put the tub up high, but there were raised edges on all 4 sides and the tub fit in snugly and there was no room for it to move. Plus DH or I never did this alone. This is a one reason why I loved my changing table so much even though others do find them a waste of money! |
We love this one too. Simple and easy to use. |
| We also love the Whale of a Tub -- it's by Fisher Price. Our daughter has been comfortable in it from her very first bath until now at 2.5 months. There's a bumper in the middle of the tub to hold small infants in a comfortable seated position. You can take that piece out later when the baby is sitting on his/her own and continue to use the tub as your baby grows. |
| Also a fan of the Euro Primo. It's the way to go as it truly can be used from newborn to 2. |
| I also recommend the Euro bath by Primo. My main concern was safety and I did a lot of research on baby bath tub safety and according to my research, the Euro bath is the safest baby bath tub available. I have used it for 5 months and I love it and do indeed find it very safe. |
