Hi,
We are due next month and are looking for a daycare starting in September for our infant. We live in Brookland and looking for any places in the area. Any suggestions? Thank you! |
| St. Ann's in Hyattsville is actually pretty close and my DS really liked it. |

NP here. I tried reaching out to them by phone and website, couldn't get any response. Curious to hear if anyone else has details about them. |
| There is one right next to Children's, La Petite Academy. |
| Hyattsville is probably not convenient if you're commuting into downtown DC. Our toddler has been at La Petite Academy by Children's National since he was an infant and we are overall happy with it. Many people like Petite Scholars in brookland, but they have a long waitlist and they don't have an attached outdoor play area. Now that DS is a toddler I realize how important it is to have outdoor play space easily accessible at daycare. A friend of mine takes her toddler to Scrilli and likes it. They however don't have a meal plan there and they don't take infants |
| With Petit Scholars, La Petite, St. Ann's, Scrilli (not for infants) named already... suggest joining the Brookland Kids Yahoo group if you have not already. Depending on where you work and if you are open to smaller in-home daycares, parents in that group talk about a few others and also nanny shares where families planning on daycare sometimes end up putting their infants while waiting for a daycare spot to open up. |

I also had trouble reaching someone at Nido. I ended up messaging them on Facebook and they responded. It may be worth checking in with them (they said their next slot was in 2020, but things may have changed).
In addition to the ones listed already and if you're willing to drive to Hyattsville, Heritage Learning Center is another option. |
| Does anyone know anything about Bennett Babies up on Monroe and Michigan? What about Icare development Center? |
