Best shampoo/conditioner

I have color treated natural curly hair that I try to flat iron about every other day. So, needless to say its getting fried. I am looking for a good shampoo and conditioner. TIA

Have you thought of Japanese straightening? I am thinking of doing it, but don't know how damaging it would be to the hair. Perhaps less because hot ironing everyday maybe more damaging.

PP, here. Forgot to add that I use Suave 2 in 1 shampoo most days and Suave clarifying shampoo once a week to remove build up.

Allure did a recent issue on the "best of beauty" and Pantene Pro-V's naturefusions was featured in there.

I think with that much frying of your hair, though, you probably just need to do deep conditioning once a week or so to help it.

If you are willing to spend some money to protect your hair, go with the Kerastase line, esp. for color treated hair (Chroma riche) and for curly hair (Oleo Curl). It's worth it.

I like Garnier Nutrisse products. But you really should consider cutting back on the flat iron; it's deadly for hair.

You simply must try the Deva line (http://store.devachansalon.com). It's wonderful!! I like the DevaCare No-Poo Cleanser for color treated hair. I even used it before I colored my hair because it doesn't have parabens. If you're not familiar with the "no-poo" term, they use it because the cleanser does not lather like shampoo. It doesn't have Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) like so many shampoos. SLS is very bad for all hair, especially curly tresses. One quick google search and you'll find tons of info.

DevaCare is the only cleanser I have tried (and there have been many) that really leaves my hair feeling clean. And it has a nice citrus scent. The conditioner is okay, but no better than my normal Giovanni Direct leave-in conditioner, which leaves me with moist nicely defined curls. Oh I could go on and on about curly hair products, but I won't .
