Recently moved from NYC to Wheaton, MD and looking for a good doctor in the area. I read good reviews of HC and I am trying to find a doc affiliated with that hospital.
Any suggestions? Is HC as good as many reviews are saying? Thanks! ![]() |
OBGyn & Associates in Silver Spring - their office is in the Holy Cross medical building. I've seen Drs. Morales, Novak, Behram and Kleinman in that practice. |
I strongly recommend Craig Dickman (yeah, hell of a name for an OB/GYN!) of Capital Women Care. http://www.cwcare.net/index.html I saw him for years when I lived in that area and even went to see him when I moved to VA for several years. I never thought I'd go to a male OB/GYN but needed surgery and didn't like my GYN at that time. My primary care doctor urged me to go to Dr. Dickman and I am so glad that I did. He is outstanding. You really trust him and feel comfortable with him, and he's on the Top Doctors list from Washingtonian. He delivers at HC. I had my surgery there and it was great; haven't delivered there. Good luck! |
I go to Capital Woman's Care
http://www.cwcare.net/index.html 10801 Lockwood Drive, Suite 320 Silver Spring, MD I see Dr. Berger-Wise and she is fantastic. All their Drs. deliver out of Holy Cross! |
does anyone know of good female obgyn who delivers at HC?? |
I go to Capital Women's Care in SS on Georgia Ave. All the docs seem great so far and I Dr Sine is my main dr who is wonderful but you'd see all of the doctors. |
I also go to OB GYN ASSOC and see Dr. Kleinman. So far I have found the practice to be a big improvement over my previous one in DC. |
I also love OBGyn & Associates -- Dr. Kleinman has been absolutely wonderful with us so far (I'm at 31 weeks w my first, so I can't speak for beyond that -- I'll let you know more in 2 months!).
I'd previously gone to the Capital Women's Care at HC for general gyno, TTC issues, and our first OB appt, but I didn't get a good feel from them at all: very abrupt, didn't answer my questions, and both docs I saw were off-putting. Totally the opposite of Dr. Kleinman, who has been fantastic with both me and my DH -- warm, and open with his opinions. He's also great at returning phone calls when we have questions. So far, I've been really happy with our decision to go with Kleinman & HC -- I'd looked into Sibley, but HC had more of what we thought was important (private rooms, higher level NICU), plus the 24 hour Starbucks, for me, is a nice little bonus! I'd recommend taking a tour of the hospital: that's when I got my most complete impression of Holy Cross. |
