I’m rather excited about this for my daughter- and potentially for me. If I stopped Irish dance lessons in my early 20s, and am now in my late 30s, would the teen/adult class be something ridiculous for me to take?

Hi there! Great to hear you are excited about classes for your daughter! The adult/teen class would be a great option for you as well, especially since you already have some experience. The class will include technique basics, Irish dance fitness as well as ceili instruction. It should be a lot of fun! Feel free to email info@districtirishdance.com with any other questions! Hope to see you at the open house on Aug 25th!

Just a note - the studio is located inside the Foxhall Square shopping center (3301 New Mexico Ave NW). You enter through the Starbucks and walk down the hall to Fuse Pilates

Hi, both my girls are interested. What's crucial to me living in town, is if there is parking?

Hi there! Yes - there is easy 2-hr street parking, right in the neighborhood adjacent to Foxhall Square. There's also a lot right next to the building with free parking on weekends.

Apologies, wrong link (that was for a clip of Irish dancing on the Graham Norton Show) -- here is the link to register for the District Irish Dance Academy Open House:

Hi Joe are you teaching the champs or is this a Teelin workshop type offshoot?

District Irish Dance Academy is a brand new Irish dance school with distinctive program offerings. We're not a satellite studio or offshoot of Teelin, although we are of course great friends with the Teelin family!
