My DH (63) recently went on a blood pressure medicine for the first time (a diuretic) and while he won't admit it his performance in bed is not what it use to be. He was fine until he went on the meds. It takes him a lot longer to get an erection and he can't sustain it as he once could. Other than the BP issue he is in very good health and reasonably fit. I worry that the longer he stays on the meds the worse the problem will get. Is this a common occurrence with BP medicine? |
If he's on HCT, it's smarter for him to take the meds in the am. He should get a trial script from his Dr for Cialis. It actually additionally lowers blood pressure and will keep him erect for hours. Happy to discuss other tips as I've had HBP for a year and leverage ED meds as well. |
Thanks - I'll check on when he takes it. I don't need him erect for hours, just 20 minutes or so! |
