Timing colonoscopy prep?

| I want to finish it so that I won’t have to void during the night or stay up past 11 the night before. It is very important. What time should I start the pills? |

| Whatever time the doctor tells you to. What tine is your colonoscopy scheduled for? What prep are you using where you take pills? That’s pretty rare. |

| Agree, never heard of pill's being used for it. Your over thinking this entire process. If you started around 5pm or so by 11 your system will be empty. |

| It all depends n hit time your colonoscopy is scheduled? Did the doctor give you instructions? Different doctors use different prescriptions so timing can vary. |

Last I heard, liquid prep is used now as there have been problems with pills.
As mentioned above, you will be done emptying by 11:00 pm if you start around 5:00 pm. But then you take a final dose the morning of colonoscopy after you get up. But it ultimately depends on what time the colonoscopy is scheduled. |

| I have gastroparesis so I can’t do the high volume liquid prep. I am getting the half-size liquid prep and 4 pills. The office directions were vague about timing other than when to stop solids. When I called, they keep sending me to voicemail. I appreciate the help. |

| I did mine two months ago. I finished my last dosage at 11 pm (all liquid). Just chug as much as you can with the lemon sorbet as the chaser. Takes about 15 mins to start. You'll be completely cleaned out by 6:00 am. My procedure started at 10 and I was eating food again by 1 pm. It's easy. |
