I am looking for black knee high boots (to hit an inch or so below the knee) and having a hard time finding boots that aren’t too tall. Looking for shaft height less than 15”. Shop for me? |

Don't be an ass. She's asking for recommendations. There are plenty of short women who have knee-high boots sick probably give her advice- like me! Op- I have been really happy with frye Melissa knee highs . |
I'm in the same boat. Zappos allows you to search by shaft height (ha, shaft makes me giggle). Couple of years ago I purchased a brand Bella-Vita because I needed wide width, wide calf, and a short shaft (hehehe). 5,2 with muscular calves. |
measure what shaft height you need and do a search. I found some but it took me some time to find them. |
There are lots of recommendations on this blog: www.extrapetite.com |
search at Shopstyle - there are options |
I have a pair of Dries Van Noten with a 15" shaft (not this season), they fit perfectly and I'm 5'1". |
I am petite as well and love my La Canadienne boots! Mine are a few seasons old. I believe Galaxy is the style I have. |
Yes! Frye Melissas. (And they last forever.) |
I purchased these in the Frye Melissa back zip (black) last season and they are perfect height. I am 5' 2". |
www.extrapetite.com does annual roundups on tall boots. I personally have a pair of La Canadienne's that I like as well as a pair of Solemani (they have some very narrow calf options if you need them). |
I bought a pair of Frye boots and had a cobbler slice off the top for my short legs. Cost $30. I also have Clarks that I was able to wear off the rack and those are comfy. |
IAnother vote for Frye Melissa, I have the button and back zip. I'm 5'3" and just purchased Teva Foxy for an affordable waterproof option that has a slight heel and have been happy with the height, very comfy too. |
