Does your stylist gossip too much?

They all do. A lot of clients love it.
That is why I generally go to stylist when I am traveling for work. Never will see or hear from them again. |

Never. I bounce around, though, so I very rarely have the same person twice.
Whenever someone brings up gossip I don't want to hear, I usually just say, "Oh, I don't know about that." And just change the subject. |

I too am very puzzled by what is meant by gossip in this context. I switch stylists fairly regularly and not noticed any being particularly gossipy. Like, usually I interpret gossip to mean talking about mutual acquaintances while they are not present; however, I never have any shared friends or acquaintances with my stylist. |

| Its funny because I have hair stylists in my family who lament the constant gossip/ complaining of their clients- they all say they could do their jobs 24 hours a day if the clients would just not talk! |

| My stylist gossips too but not that much so she could focus on what she's doing while talking some stories about celebrities. I think they do it to make their customers comfortable with them and it's ok with me. |
