Openings for young 2s?

Does anyone know of any preschools with last-minute openings for young 2-year-olds this Fall? Our DS just turned 2.

| Edgemoor Children's Center (part of Wonders) in downtown Bethesda has a young 2s opening on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. 301-907-4080. www.wonderschildcare.org. I incorrectly posted on a different thread that it was in their older 2/yougner 3s room, but I was wrong - it is for younger 2s. Good luck. |

Westmoreland Children's Center (http://www.westmorelandchildrenscenter.com/) may have openings for the 2 day 2's program which meets T/Th, 9-Noon.

| You can try Montessori School of Washington in Palisades. Not sure if any openings but very international/diplomat group there and so there is turnover as families return to home countries -- may also be mid-year openings for same reason you could get on waitlist and have decent chance to get off. |

| City Gate has a French-immersion pre-school starting this fall for 2-3 year olds. Meets Tues. Thurs. 9:30-12:30. Two spots remain open. |

Yes the mom of the 2 year old they lost at the park and who was found to have walked back past busy streets to his house on his own probably pulled him out. There should be an open slot. |
