Help me pair a top and shoes with this jean skirt

I got this skirt a few days ago and I love it. It fits me well and it was on sale. I typically don't wear jean skirts. I am planning to wear it to the beach next week.

Simple sneakers (as shown in the link) plus fitted
TShirt or tank. Strappy flat sandals would work. I don't like flip flops except at the beach or pool but they'd work as well. |

| I love a wife beater (excuse the term) with jeans or jean shorts and I think one would look cute with this skirt. I'd go with sporty fun slip on sneakers or a sandal that's slightly dressier than a flip flop. I love Jack Rogers (I know not everyone does) but something like those, a dressier flat sandal. |

| I dunno - not a fan of that - my two denim skirts are A-line. I guess you could wear simple sneakers or flip flops and a polo. |

| I think it could go with just about any casual top and shoes. The nice thing about a pencil skirt is that you can pair it with something fitted or loose. I'd say you could wear it with a fitted tank top during the day and/or a blousy top in the evening. |
